Five Signs God Is Preparing You for a New Season

Change can be exciting, but it can also be uncomfortable.
Many people sense that something is shifting in their lives long before they understand exactly what God is doing. They feel restless, doors begin closing, and familiar routines no longer bring the same sense of fulfillment.
Could it be that God is preparing you for a new season?

Here are five common signs.
1. Your Current Season No Longer Fits
What once felt comfortable now feels limiting. This doesn't mean something is wrong. It may simply mean you have grown beyond where you currently are.
2. God Is Stretching Your Faith
New seasons often require greater trust. God may ask you to step into unfamiliar territory without showing you every detail beforehand.
3. Certain Doors Are Closing
Closed doors can be frustrating, but they are not always rejection. Sometimes they are divine redirection.
4. You Feel a Holy Restlessness
There is a difference between dissatisfaction and divine prompting. A holy restlessness often indicates that God is calling you toward something greater.
5. God Keeps Confirming the Same Message
Through prayer, Scripture, sermons, conversations, and circumstances, God often repeats themes when He wants our attention.

If several of these signs are present in your life, don't panic.
New seasons can feel uncertain because they require us to leave behind what is familiar. Yet throughout Scripture, God's people experienced growth when they trusted Him enough to move forward.
Abraham left his homeland.
Moses stepped before Pharaoh.
Peter walked on water.
None of them had all the answers before taking the first step.

If God is preparing you for something new, spend time in prayer and stay sensitive to His voice. You do not have to know every detail before saying yes to Him.
Remember, God's will is never designed to harm you. His plans are filled with hope, purpose, and promise.
The next season of your life may be closer than you think.

Maybe you've been serving faithfully and expected a different outcome. Or perhaps life simply looks different than what you imagined it would.

The Difference Between Activity and Purpose

Have you ever reached the end of a busy week and wondered, "What did I actually accomplish?" You were constantly moving, responding to emails, taking care of responsibilities, attending meetings, helping others, and checking items off your to-do list. Yet despite all that activity, you still felt empty, frustrated, or unfulfilled. If that's you, you're not alone.
